mixed ability ton-where to look?

After reading a recent,and i thought,inspiring,thread about the Edinburgh-StAndrews run,and the Trossachs Ton,I thought i would really like to have that sort of target to aim at,I am based in mid lincolnshire,but could travel ,are these events posted somewhere-it would need to be mixed ability,as i have only just started back on the bike,also what sort of level is a sportive,and an audax?

    These guys organise a lot of charity rides, including 100 milers - with a real mix of abilities taking part.

    Perfect!-thanks sub55(blimey-does that mean 55 mins for a 25?) -think i must try harder!-and mystique-now I can find a suitable target-already doing the great north swim in september,so maybe me old 38" waist trews will fit by then! Cheers
