gear shifters not working

Hello anyone.
can anyone help!
I had a bad crash a couple of weeks ago when i destroyed my front wheel.
I have had it replaced,
On taking the bike out for a ride the gear shifters for the rear mech are jammed solid.
any ideas, HELP!!!!!

    undo the cable from the mech & see if either part moves at all by hand

    Are they damaged? Or is it set up?

    Disconnect the cables and remove. Do they still click? Can you remove the derailer by hand, and is it all in line?

    Clean cables, refit, and try from scratch.

    Cheers for that i'll give everything a try
    The rear derailler is in line also i can move it by hand.

    Got them working
    took bike to lbs,shifters were seized
    a little spray of TF - sorted :)
