Guess the head angle?
I measured it today.
I measured it today.

1.12 radians. (64 degrees)0

i say 66 or 67 degrees0

66/67 deg with a 12" travel fork do you think so?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
Parktools :?:SheldonBrown0 -
Hmmm...
About 20 deg
Seriously, I'd guess at 59-61 deg.

Where'd you get it from?Boo-yah mofo

Front wheel is a bit lower than the back in the pic so creates an illusion.
63.7 degrees.0 -

Err heavy bike. some factory in Taiwan.
Oh and 63.5deg."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

63.7 degrees.
measured today on the level."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

If we round to 2 SF, I was bang on.

Woo.
but you were being tooooo Geeeeeeky with the radians."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
Parktools :?:SheldonBrown0 -
I'm a physicist dammit! I haven't used degrees for ages!0
-
and Engineers use Degrees.
We make things you just think about them."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
Parktools :?:SheldonBrown0 -
Actually, I tell a lie. There's a wave equation which is used by chemists which uses degrees. It also uses fecking decimetres. At least engineers stick to SI units...0
-
I love standards.
I hate the feekers who keep changing them or think we need new standards to replace the old standards."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I still talk in feet, yards, inches, pounds and especially pints ;-)0

supersonic wrote:I still talk in feet, yards, inches, pounds and especially pints ;-)
i am a right mix now. over a foot and it is imperial. less than a foot and it is metric but then it turns back to thousands of an Inch for the small stuff."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
Parktools :?:SheldonBrown0 -
And i'm from the era that doesn't know what the difference is between metric and imperial0
-
It's not a proper unit unless it can be fully expressed as a power of 10!0
-
Can you imagine a mint metric? Yuk.0
-
whyamihere wrote:It's not a proper unit unless it can be fully expressed as a power of 10!
whats this Power of 10?
8/12/16/32ths yes but 10?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
Parktools :?:SheldonBrown0 -
supersonic wrote:Can you imagine a mint metric? Yuk.
would be a bit Bitter."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
Parktools :?:SheldonBrown0 -
Metres = 1
km = 1x10^3
mm = 1x10^-3
It's so simple!0 -
+1 for mint metrics.
Although imperial does have it's uses (steam engines, old Massey Furgerson tractors etc).
Also, people who are coincidentally from the Jurassic era use imperial measurements, right Nicklouse?

I'm a bit of a Fred Dibnah fan!
And Keith Floyd - 'cook at wood mark 6'!0 -
bigchazrocks
i would let Sonic do that.
And i would never ban anyone for a personal attack, on the forum, against me.
I real life i would just sit on them."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Fred Rocked RIP
Floyd he just could not be arsed."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Haha. You can't be that massive as to cause injury to me. I have 'fights' with one of my 21stone friends. (Needless to say, he's NOT a biker, haha)
You can't weigh more than 21 stone!! Besides, you'd have to catch me first!
And I was only joking!! I still use inches (albeit in thousand'ths) at work using vernier calipers. Yes, I am only 20, and I use inches.
And yes, my argument is now void...
