On both of the last 2 Sundays I did 40 miles of (mostly) the route for the Dartmoor Classic 2009 - very hard! Fab weather though and smooth roads!
Finished on Sunday opposite Dartmoor Prison thinking could I do that route again plus a bit more on top!?!
Average speed went down to 13.5 mph by the time I finished - good job I am aiming for the bronze standard time0 -
I am entered along with a couple of people I know. used to live down there, but I suspect it will be a whole different kettle of fish riding a bike rather than driving across the moor. Hope the weather is nice, or its going to be pretty grim up on the moor!0
