Rockshox Monrach 3.1 ???

Hi all!

Purchased a Boardman Team FS with Monarch 3.1 rear shock.... Did not get a manual with the bike for this shock and Rockshox website is rubbish for directions on how to set-up. It feels very stiff.... Does anyone have one of these shock's? If yes, can you tell me what I need to do to set this up properly?

    the Monarch is an air shock.

    So have you got a suitable shock pump?

    have you set the sag?

    set the rebound to how you want it. IE you do not get bucked off.

    set the flood gate to limit the force that makes the shock start working.

    I know this sounds crazy, but I really don't understand any of those items except for setting the psi level.

    Can you explain?
