Can i do this? i currently have 160mm disk rotors front and back and want to upgrade both to hope M4's but i want the front to be 185mm. Can i do this? i know the rotor will fit but will the calliper mounting points be right? or is it all standardized and will work?

Thanks for your help

    yes you can.

what you need depends on what you have now and what you want to get.

Assuming your forks are rated to take bigger rotors.
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result

You will probably also need brake brackets for 180mm disc instead of 160mm.

Mine should arrive tomorrow, so 180mm disc will be up front. To be honest though I changed my pads recently and there was a massive change in braking performance, try that first? Sintered is the way to go...
