Split in the peloton with 193 km (!) to go, with Boonen, Boasson Haagen, Wiggins, Cancellara, Hincapie, a lot of Rabobanks and 30-odd other strong riders in the first group, and Cavendish in a group further back a minute or so down.... strong winds on the Flemish plains....

    Boonen is apparently the only Qucik Step in the first group, so it's not Columbia but QS leading the chase...

    Boonen also has a puncture and drops from the front group to the firts chasing group!

    Now Quick Step chasing, bringing back Cavendish to the front.... while Boasson Haagen, Eisel, Hincapie and Burghardt are in the first group.... interesting Columbia tactics

    cyclingfans.com thinks Sporza and RTBF may be geo-restricted when their streams start so if anyone finds a stream can they post the link - thanks in advance!

    Tweede groep = second group
    Ploeg = team
    Lekke band = puncture
    Renner = rider/racer
    Wedstrijd = race

    rtbf feed starts in 20 minutes, but you have to set your PC clock an hour forward.
    I'm off to watch it on tv with NED 1. :wink:

    The page loads but I get a test screen telling me the stream is either offline or not available. Very frustrating!

    You know when things in the peloton are getting desperate, when it's left to Cofidis to take up the chase.
    A waste of time IMO. Time for an early bath!

    4 of the Cervelo boys, blown away on the Kemmelberg. They'll be gone, next time around, so all that work for nothing. Columbia and Saxo seem the strongest.
    Naf new decent. Would have been scary in these conditions!

    Cervelo lose 5 and Columbia 3, with the front group attacking eachother.
    Only Hincapie marks the move. Duff tactics.

    Front group has split again. Euskaltel have more riders in contention than Quick Step and Silence-Lotto combined. Strange days.

    Remember the rules - If Hincapie wins then G-W isn't a real race and basically a "chipper" between Flanders and Roubaix.

    Anyone else then it's a bone fide classic :wink:
