Hello there,

Are the newer look pedals still compatible with the old ARC cleats? the new ones look different, but I wonder if I can still use the old cleats in a new pedal.

I need some new pedals, and don't want to mess with my cleats until they are worn out.

New Look pedals use new Look cleats.

But cleats are cheap. Plus you get a free set when you buy new pedals!
  • it's more about mucking around with the position. I have iffy knees, so don't like changing cleats any more than I have to.

So the Keo cleats are not compatible with old Look pedals, and vice versa?

If there's no compatibility, I may go with SPD-SL...

If you mean the old Delta cleats - then no - they are different sizes. But you could easily mark the position of your existing cleats before replacing them.

Look also make 3 different cleats now - with varying degree of float. Black = none, grey = 4.5 degree and red = 9 degree. Maybe the old ones had the same, not sure.
