Ride near Loughborough

I'm in Loughborough during the first weekend in April with an opportunity to take my bike and get out for a 2-3 hour ride on the Saturday afternoon/evening. Can anyone recommend a ride and if so any prospect of taking some hills in? (normally ride north of Leeds, Dales)

  • This isn't quite right but the southern half of the loop takes in some good climbing.
You could go north to Normanton go anti clockwise then leave it at Burton going across to Cotes.
I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how hilly this ride is.

I spent 10 years in Loughborough, between 1989 and 1990.
