There's no references anywhere online to exactly where it is... :?

The best I can find is that it's near Macclesfield Road... Was down there today coming up Artists Lane (What a road!). Didn't see any signposts or anything...

I remember going when I was a kid and there was a forrest nearby... Is that the same forrest on Macclesfield Road? Which direction is it in when going towards Macclesfield on Macclesfield Road? Left or right?

My understanding, though happy to be corrected as I'm no expert is that the "Edge" is the whole ridge and as such its both sides of the Macc road, though the forest you refer to would I guess be the one heading out the village to Macc and to the left of the road.

From Alderley Edge take the road signed to Macclesfield/Over Alderley , climb up and you'll find a pub called the wizzard. NT car park on left. You'll then have to walk through the woods and you'll eventually come to it.
