Your best bet is SportTracks, an excellent free bit of kit, particularly once you add in many of the good plugins in the catalog.

It does good graphs, maps of your locations, everything you need really.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. What plugins would you recommend?

Good Post!! I received my 705 this week and to be honest, the Garmin training centre software is absolutely rubbish, a real let down, especially when compared against the Polar Pro Trainer 5 I was using with my CS600 previously. If it wasn't for the fact I'm relocating with work to a new area in a few months and hence might find the GPS function quite useful, I'd have kept the CS600 every day of the week. And twice on a Sunday.

+1 for SportTracks. Been using it for months and it's excellent. I also use Garmin Connect to upload basic rides.

On a Mac I use Ascent - recommended.
