I,ve got a presta valve on my bike[Came with when purchased] my question is does it matter if a buy a new inner with the Schrader obviously its the same size to replace the presta incase of a puncture out on the roads

I know it sounds confusing so my sincere aplogies

This will only work if you have a larger hole in the rim for Shreader. Probably you don't. Rims can be drilled but I wouldn't recommend that. Prestas really are good if you take care and learn how to handle them properly, they would be my preference - indeed I have bought rim adapters to reduce the hole size so I can use Prestas.

Bollocks never thought of that, never mind will take new inner back to ASDA and take a trip to local bike shop to get a presta

The rims that came on my Kona had schraeder sized holes with adaptors for presta valves. My personal preference is for schraeder though.

I would check before you take the tube back.
