Has anyone heard this ruling?

On my ride home today a fellow workmate told me he had heard a judge had made ruling that a cyclists who are injured in an accident that are not wearing a helmet will recieve less compo than a cylist who does.
As I say, I don't even know if this is true. If it is though I feel it's the thin end of the wedge. What will it be next compulsary wearing of hi-viz jackets. :twisted:
