Alternative to Hope M4

In the market for buying some new brakes and the new Hope Tech M4 really does take my eye, except for the price which seems hugely expensive! I want something that is going to match the power of them, the looks and reliability!

How about the older Hope Mono M4's? Should be able to get a good discount on them now that the Tech versions are out0
