How do I remove the canti bosses off my Inbred 29er fork? They're supposed to be removable but I can't do it. Is there some trick to it?

If they look like this (notice flat edge), then they should come of with a 10mm? spanner, if they are completely round, then err hacksaw or angle grinder.

10mm too big, 8mm too small and I don't have a 9mm and the adjustable has too much give in it. Looks like I need a 9mm.

They'll be pretty tight as well, probably loctited in. Best get the right size spanner or you'll round the flats.
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result
