Ever been de-railed?
Gear changing up front has become increasingly frustrating lately - when I try to change up from the middle to the big ring, the chain often passes straight over the chainwheel and drops off the edge, leaving it dangling over the crank, so that I have to change down again to re-engage the chain.
The same thing happens when I change up while pressing the gear lever very gradually, so it doesn't seem to be caused by the outer limit being improperly adjusted.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Are there any likely solutions?
