problem shifting into the smallest ring on the cassette

hey

just as the title says, cant seem to shift into the smallest ring on the cassette, when it manages to go into it though it judders and stops the wheel.

anyone know how to fix it ?

    Suggest you look at adjusting the stop screws on your rear mech and if that doesn't work, then the gear cable might be over-tight.
    Still no joy? In which case you might have to check your mech hanger alignment on the frame.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
