SRAM 10 spd chains on CAMPAG groupset ???

Hi, I decided that since SRAM chains are so good on the MTB decided to try one got the topline one PC1090 I think, fitted it to my Record groupset and it is running like a dog on a treadmill all jumpy and horrible. Is it because SRAM chains don't work on Campag or is it because my cassette needs changing ? Cassette is not that old, probably 6,000km max and I mean absolute max.

Whats the consensus viewpoint here ladies and gents ?

    Have heard a lot of rumours about the 10speed Sram chains being very noisy, but not about them running badly on other manufacturers components. Personally I really like KMC chains - have a link similar to a sram and they run very nicely. For extra tartiness they can also be had in a nice gold finish (meant to be harder wearing)
