Hi all, I'm having a little trouble with some severely seized adjuster screws on my quite old (6years) Shimano 105 triple front mech. WD40 wont touch it and the outer limit of the mech is slightly too much to the point that when I turn the pedals the chain rubs against the inner part of the carriage and I get lots of contact and noise. If I replace the front mech with a more modern version of the 105 will it matter that they all appear to be 9 speed even though my bike is a 7 or am I looking at a complete change of chain, cassette etc etc. Any help you can give or suggestions would be appreciated. Paul
