is it imperative that these are in absolutely perfecvtly straight?

if not, will the headset bind in certain places? or will it just not work properly at all??

well in needs to be fairly straight or you wont get the bolt in and if you can it can pull out or bend the flanges making it not secure.

ok thanks nick. its not perfectly straight, but the bolt goes in, although thinking bout it the flanges may be a bit screwed.

i got the park star nut tool. 1st ever attempt at fitting on and its perfectly straight....
right tool = flawless fitting
