is it imperative that these are in absolutely perfecvtly straight?

well in needs to be fairly straight or you wont get the bolt in and if you can it can pull out or bend the flanges making it not secure."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

ok thanks nick. its not perfectly straight, but the bolt goes in, although thinking bout it the flanges may be a bit screwed.I said hit the brakes not the tree!!

i got the park star nut tool. 1st ever attempt at fitting on and its perfectly straight....
