My wife wants to buy some of that all in one puncture repair & inflate gunk in a can....sounds too good to be true....is it any good ?, presumably you have to remove anything that has pierced the tube first right?
Anybody used it ??

  • I think they just add too much weight in the wrong place (right at the outer edge of the wheel), reducing speed and handling with no guarantee to work. Although I'm not sure you would have to get whatever caused a small puncture out as the gunk should close a gap before you notice a loss of pressure - this could be an argument for or against the stuff.

However, a decent set of tyres will do just as much to prevent punctures, whilst improving rolling resistance and handling - so I think it's a no-brainer.
  • Doesn't this goo-gunk stuff just go off after a while inside the tyre without a puncture?
AT MY AGE, I SHOULD KNOW BETTER !!!
