i'm only 12 and i'm wondering if i should get clipless pedals or just keep toe clip ones that came with the bike that my dad just gave me (it's a bit old but love riding it) :? :!:

If you haven't used clip in pedals before I would recommend Shimano SPD 520's, which are really MTB pedals but... they are cheap, simple, easy to use and pretty much bombproof. I use them pretty much in preference to my £100 Speedpalys.

Don't forget you will need shoes as well. You can wait until Aldi get in their excellent £20 jobs or get a pair of these, or grab a pair of Shimano's in a sale
