1) How do rear mech hangers attach to the frame? Do they just snap in and out with brute force? I can't find a guide on Park Tool's or Sheldon's websites.
2) Is there an easy way of finding out what hanger is on my bike? I mean without having to take a decent photograph and then look through the options on derailleurhanger.com?

1. It's held on by two small allen bolts in a recessed part on the dropout. At least that's how it is on mine.
2. Dunno. I just took my old (snapped) one into the bike shop, told them what bike it was off and they ordered me a new one.0
