Looking at Google I see about 18-20M W to E spanning across these towns that has a mass of trails across it.
Is this area accesable & ridable?

These paths are tank routes for the Army's training range. The map shows the area classified as Danger Area. The paths are marked with skull and crossbones signs.

There is limited access which makes visiting the area quite eerie and interesting. Depends on your choice of MTBing. Check the following site and also SPAM (Salisbury Plain something or other).

Yep. hundreds of trails arond here - we ride them every week. Just use your common sense, pay attention to the signs & when the red flags are flying. pick a different route.

    Cheers.
  • I grew up around here, even when the Red flags aren't flying DON'T go onto the live firing area as there is a very real danger from Unexploded Munitions.
