Can anyone HELP what bike is best for my money? a Mongoose Tecoali Comp'08 or The Carrera Banshee X'08. Both bikes are coming in at about £649, any help would be appreciated. :D

What sort of riding will you be doing?

A Hardtail will be better value for money at £650.

Ah, cool. In that case... Mongoose then, it weighs almost a kilo and a half less and probably works just as well. Some nice stuff in the spec, X5 is good enough for the drivetrain and the brakes work (I have the same ones on my Kraken, they're a pain to bleed but they work well). I'm not sure either is going to be that great mind but if it's one of those two, it has to be the Mongoose IMO
