HELP MC20 Shifters

My "friend" told me he would fit my front brake and new shifter today, 3 hours later my front wheel has a new rotor and my shifter is in a MILLION pecies, The Shift was a gift from a member here and as such there is no manual, My friend being the muppett he is has now gone home, so now while he is gone Im looking at getting the shifter back together, Can anyone point me in the right direction ? PLEASE

    Any pictures? What kind of shifter is it? (bar-end, grifter, grip-shift, trigger...)

    Hey gb155, jeez your friend really did a job on that, I in my infinite stupidity did something similar on a SRAM shifter, end result new shifters.

    Here's this manual for your shifter http://bike.shimano.com/media/techdocs/content/cycle/EV/bikecomponents/SL/EV-SL-M410-2436A_v1_m56577569830609205.pdf sorry but the exploded view doesn't show all those parts as they're not meant to be take apart to that degree.

    You could always email Shimano explaining the situation, take the bits to a good LBS or us this as an excuse to upgrade, i'd recommend the deore range, LX or XT very nice :wink:

    I hope this technical hitch hasn't taken you off the road.

    No im not off the road, just without my front hydro brake :) Will look on ebay me thinks :D
