    Logical Song - Supertramp

Or 10cc with "I'm not in love".....

Listen carefully to the end of Supertramp's "Mr Blue Sky". It says, in a sort of slow, stretched out electronically voice, "Please turn me over" - a reference to the fact that the song was at the last song on side 1 of the cassette album.

Take That are brilliant these days - they were only really rubbish when they appeared, terrible voices and anaemic production and some bloody awful songs. But stuff like "Back for Good" and, more recently, "Shine" are fantastic choons. Great for karaoke, too.

    Hmm, SCR karaoke, y/n?

  • Electric Avenue... eddy grant.

A lot of my gp songs are from '83. Interesting.

And speaking of dexy's, I used to do a music pub quiz a few years ago with my builder mates from Essex. At their insistence, and to everyone's amusement, our team name was invariably 'came on eileen'...

Today I have mostly been listening to Dead Kennedys and a bit of the Cramps.

Not so interestingly our pub quiz team was called "swimming with barrymore", they didn't like it when we won
