I was looking for one of these:

Park Tools BT5 Adjustable Third Hand Brake Tool

They look quite sturdy does anyone have any experience with them?

  Gary, use a toe strap its cheaper.

  Thanks for that top tip! I will give it ago. I am putting some Kool Stops on my Galaxy which has cantis.
