hello
new to forum ,and the last time i had a bike was back in 92.
any way just bought a cannondale f6 disc 08
it has dart2 forks ,how do you adjust the sag or do i need not too ,

It will be a spring or a air most likely to be spring so you gotta change the spring to you're weight0

There is nothing to adjust on it. I've got one too.
Just on the top of the left leg you can adjust the preload and that's all.
Mine is set to softest, cause I have too stiff spring / I'm too light for my spring.
The fork just doesn't compresses when I sit on the bike.

sorry was in a rush on last reply... the best thing to do is go out on your local trail or even in your local woods if you do not have a trail near by and try several runs over rocky terrain and roots etc and each time adjust your forks rebound slightly and see what you like best. usually the pre-set setting is fine but if you want the most out of your forks go for a custom set up its all about personal preference. the more solid they are the faster you will go but you will feel the bumps and roots more and visa versa with a soft setting. Personally i have mine fairly hard because i like the speed but i adjust it if i think the trail has lots of rocks/roots.

The Dart2 with Turnkey does have an adjustable rebound damper. To confuse matters more, some of the F6s have this fork, others just the standard Dart2...0

there are a few versions of the Dart 2 as there are many versions of the tora. because he said his one had rebound i just took it like it did but to be honest i also thought they didnt and the tora was the cheapest rockshox you could get with rebound.0

He actually didn't say it has rebound, someone else did. But you're right, it IS confusing. Nick was being clever with his manual comment, when the manual link he posted actually says that some Dart 2s have rebound adjustment

The Dart 3 has magnesium lowers rather than aluminium, which drops half a pound off the weight.0

Someone once told me that you dont really feel increased weight in the forks if they are working well0

Dart 2.5 is an OE model specced to some bikes. It varies what it actually is
Dart 2 turnkey does have adjustable rebound. Standard Dart 2 does not.
Dart 3 has magnesium lowers.
Dart 1 has no damping, alu lowers and is truely awful!0
