Looking at a Cateye Velo 5 because i only want to know the basics. i.e.- time of day and distance travelled.

    I've had a couple of the Velo 5s, but they seemed to break down after 400miles - resetting them seemed to make them work for another 400 miles. I wouldn't recommend them.
    I like bikes...

  • Blackburn Delphi 2.0 or 3.0 if you want cadence. Ribble and Wiggle do them for a really good price. Nice clear screens. I have a couple and IMO it is nicer than my Cateye Micro Wireless. Yea it has a wire but you can hide it pretty well and you can hook it upto the rear wheel which is handy if you use a Turbo sometimes.

    Anyone got a Knog N.E.R.D. computer? they look very clean and apparently easy to set up.
  • I bought a cheap computer from Wilkinson's. It cost £6.99 and includes;
    speed,ave speed,max speed, trip distance,total distance, riding time, calories burned, rpm and a clock.I've had it for 2 years and it's never let me down, even in the p*ss of rain!
    Here's a box,a musical box. Wound up and ready to play.

  • I don't have a mortgage, but i would need one to buy a Knog N E R D.
