Continuing the dull theme of lights [sorry! ] but can anyone recommend me a decent AA battery charger?
Have 2 Fenix L2D Cree Q5's [handlebars] and a Ultrafire C3 Cree Q5 [helmet] - so need to regularly charge some AA's.
Using the above for the 1st time tonight with some duracells but would rather have a good supply that i can charge as i seem to have about 12 NiMH rechargeable batterys in a drawer at home.
Dont want ultra expensive [under £30 i reckon], but something that is going to do the job right.
Cheers!

Watch rapid chargers, you kill off the batteries quicker, surf matt has just bought this and it has a good rep.

That looks the nuts Dazza, shall PM Matt to see what he thinks - cheers.0

Yep - that charger is utterly brilliant.
I know it's only a charger but it does everything - tests, refreshes, discharges, allows your charge current of choice, etc, etc. It also cannot toast batteries as when they are full, it goes onto very low trickle charge.
Service from Battery Logic is also first class too -if you use your light daily I recommend high mAh battieries for longevity (2700 or more). If you use it every now and again, get Hybrios which are lower (2100) mAh but retain charge much better when not in use. They also come fully charged.0 -

Thought I'd post this here rather than on another thread, but has anyone any views on this:

It's just that somebody recommended the charger from lidl, but this potentially seems to do it all including discharge function (I'm assuming it monitors the levels same as the lidl on i.e. does not rely on a timer).______________________________________________
