TDF 2009 Route Maps

Hi Does anyone know when the final more detailed route maps of the tour will be put on the website.

At the moment there are only start finish towns and profiles on some stages when will they be put up for every stage.

When were the final details and times put up for the 2008 tour.

    I could be wrong but I seem to remember that they leave the detailed route maps to quite late in the day, possibly in May.

    I think you're right. Tim Moore has problems in French Revolutions because of this. He wants to ride the course ahead of time, but no-one will tell him the route.

    The mountain profiles tell you enough to basically know the route though. Other ones you have to wait...

    I expect that there is a lot of business done during the winter by towns bidding to get included on the route.
