I have been out for a ride tonight but I have a much longer ride tomorrow. How many calories should I take on if I want to load up for tomorrow. How much would be too much?

Typically you would only use carb loading for races and even then jury is not finally in.

If you want to get more info on methods look here

(But see last paragraph "Having said all of this, I would like to note finally that carbo-loading in general has been shown to enhance race performance only when athletes consume little or no carbohydrate during the race itself. If you do use a sports drink or sports gels to fuel your race effort -- as you should -- prior carbo-loading probably will have no effect. But it doesn't hurt to do it anyway, as insurance"
