Expensive but best chippy I have thus far found in London. Devon is the best place for fish and chips but the top two are.

1-Trinity Street Huddersfield. Near the park opposite Fitzwilliam Street entrance. Superb food.
2-Waddington, Lincolnshire at the Traffic lights. Again fantastic.

If that's part of the same chain, we've got one near me (Aylesbury). Excellent when it started, with the bonus of a loyalty card, but now not so good, think the key is the management and staff. If it's all kids, then don't touch it.

Not that I've ever eaten fish and chips, given that I'm so slim and healthy...

    Nice 8)

We're having chilli con carne, with a bottle of red (no more than that as I'm in class all weekend), whilst watching the track cycling on bbci - or channels 301/302 as I factually call them.

We shall be partaking in some kettle chips and fursty ferret to accompany the track cycling tomorrow :D

  • Off to the in-laws tonight so something wholesome and hearty no-doubt.

Just have three episodes of 24 series 5 to watch so not sure if I can fit any cycling tv in (Jack's adventures become an addiction...don't start)
  • Cake.

It's daughter #1's birthday party today (not her birthday though; we hijack today for a Halloween-themed party).

    Lots of cake. And icing.

And probably chocolate for dessert. :(

Hey, Greg66, how come you've got 2 near identical bikes?

Aluminium for wet days. Carbon for dry. Although over winter, unless I'm sure it will stay dry all day, I'll stick to the alu bike; it's what I'm on today and have been all this wee, for example.

I wanted to have exactly the same geometry on both of them, so same manufacturer, same geometry, same size stem/bars, same set up. The alu one has cheaper components.

It will probably be supplemented by a dessert for two.

Kind of, they're close to my heart (arteries) plus haveing lived all over England I make it my mission to find the best places. Exeter was a complete let down, although the place at the Darts Farm village on the way to Exmouth that has the fishmonger doing fish and chips is super.

    Nope...you are incorrect

The hole in the wa' chippy in Anstruther (east neuk of Fife) is the best chippy...fishmonger......pffff why involve a middle man...

those fish come off the boat and delivered straight ot the chippy

Well if we are talking Scotland then Isle of Arran at Brodick port, the fish and chippy there is particularly awesome. Still not the Trinity Street Fisherie though.
