Will this slick fit my rim? If not - what's a good 'un?

Hey all.
I'm after these tyres: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Cycle/7/Continental_Ultra_Gator_Skin_MTB_Tyre/5360021704/
And I own these rims: http://www.mavic.com/mtb/products/crossride-disc.996178.1.aspx
However, I have no idea whether these will fit or not.
Can anyone shed any light on that.
If they won't fit, what's a fast slick tyre that's good all year round?
Oh and I was looking at the Continental Sport Contacts, but no-one can get them in stock.

I may love XC, but I won't shave my legs, dammit!

i would have thought so, although they are massively skinny! Only 1.2 inches and apparently 95psi is the rec. pressure.
Id go for something a little wider on a mountain bike.
I use travel contacts @ 1.75 wide0 -
IIRC people are currently hating conti gatorskins for flimsy sidewalls.
You want specialised all condition pro in 26" by 1". It'll fit fine. but remember you'll need new innertubes.0 -
Cheers for the advice. I did look closer and it says (on the above link to the rims) that it can only handle a minimum of 1.5".
Now, is that because it's expecting it to be used in a MTB environment or does it mean any smaller and the bead lock will be.....sketchy?
If this is the case, then how does anyone fit a 1" tyre (made for MTBs) onto a MTB rim?I may love XC, but I won't shave my legs, dammit!0 -
