can any one give me advice on the claud butlers or a better bike for £3000

Ok for the money, good entry level XC bike. Is that what you want? For riding woods, trails and country?
There isn't a 'best' - many good value ones, but it has to suit you (ie fit you). Best to try some out.0 -
it would be for woods mainly, agressive riding, i used to do it alot when i was younger and ive had 2 claud butlers any they have been good bikes, i want to get back into it, and i like the d24 2007 and the xc just want to know what would ber better?0

The XC has the better parts. Possibly. But it did cost more to start.0

just seen the mongoose tyax super 2008 would that be better than the claud butlers for 300???0

It will be a different bet, but as before, wheter it is better is subjective. Similar bikes and value.0

just need to know from an experianced rider what would be better the claud butler cape wath d24 2007 the xc or the mongoose tyax super 2008?0

If I had to buy one without even testing it, I'd get the Cape Wrath XC. But you may well find the Mongoose is better for you.
We all ride different, and are different shapes, and when the bikes are so similar it is down to the rider to find out what is best for them.
They are all good value and suitable for your riding.0 -
should i go for the one with rst omega t7 + hyralic disc brakes or the one with v brakes and Suntour XCR-LO?0
