first ride fixed conversion

first time out today some things i know now but didnt know yesterday
how many times i used to freewheel
my frame has a large toe overlap
the cleats in my shoes are worn (foot came out going up hill tried to freewheel to get foot back in ahhhhhh)
i need a back brake (cant brake with my legs)
i need to set off with the pedals in the correct position
i did about 15 miles in sheffield i loved it

    THAT'S the important bit! But watch out for the overlap - it can be disconcerting (even dangerous) however long you've been fixing.
