Our very own hugely geared Fixed Fox LiT is developing a Fan Club......

This could cue a Roadie / Commuter Turf war.

Brush off the depilation jokes fellas and stack the panniers high, MTBs to the front and absord the first wave.
Fixed gear for wet weather / hairy roadie for posing in the sun.

You are in the circle (or big ring) of trust.

State your gearing and prepare for abuse........

Only if you commute and sign up to the Silly Commuter racing game that we don't in fact play...

    Evil?

This is the less evil than a box of Kittens, I've seen more cold calculation, determination and cunning in WRVS cake stall.

If your man is going to bag LiT he's going to have the MTFU on the banter stakes and fess up his gearing (his "special edition" Langster isn't going to cut it with her, Her GI scores bigger than my IQ and I'm a fecking genius).

Where did he go? He popped up - blurted "I fancy you" then disappeared......

Oh my word, that is... well... different!

It's like being back at school, all the SCR lot giggling in the corner, and a shy little roadie comes over and whispers 'my mate likes you' then runs away back to his mates at the cake stop in the opposite corner.

    I'm flattered!

Greg, stop pimping me out... this isn't the first time, you've recently thrown me to the yokels as well... damn it all.

In fact, GregT you are now officially up for sale, I'm selling your ass for my new hubs. Come on roll up roll up for a small Hislop-esque chap from SW London

Hey why not, you might be in trouble, the market is falling and frankly I can't give it away let alone trade it but fair goes.

I am laughing so much now with some of the comments here, I think my team mates at work think I am insane. And that was before i was laughing right now.
P.S. New to haunting both Commuting and Road, I wonder if I'm a strange breed or if many others do it too?

I find I migrate here more in the autumn/winter, as there seems to be more 'action' (phnaar phnaar) on here then, or more relevant threads to me, than the roadie ones anyway.

I shall endeavour to spend more time on both though :D

Until recently only looked in Road, but started on here after I actually commuted to work so felt worthy of visiting

Well I came here as I worked out I liked road riding (beginers forum mostly), but was more using the bike for a way to commute (maybe not to work but to other places as work is 6 minutes on foot away, riding would just be really odd to it). So sort of mix of both, BUT without shaved legs (I don't shave my chin enough let alot legs) and minimal lycra usage.

Indeed a poor choice of parts to be replacing when you are selling another man, what do you intend to get after the new rims? Might I suggest a larger ring or possibly some wet lube

Will have to head over to cakestop now (behind enemy lines it seems) and see what they've been saying about LiT......brb!
