Hi all,
I have a budget of around £2500 and was considering something like a cube stereo the one, orange 5 pro or marin mount vision 5.8 as all seem to have many upsides and very few supposed downsides.can anybody tell me the weights of these bikes? i regularly ride xc in the north york moors and dalby forest, with a little downhill thrown in for good measure! am looking at a few trips to scotland in the near future. i currently ride a trek fuel 80 and is not bad for the price but want to upgrade.

can anyone point me in the right direction? any info on these bikes is much appreciated!!

thankyou

Try them all out but I would put the 5 up front has its proven to be a top
    frame and now scores 10/10

Had spoken to Orange regarding what abuse this frame would take
to be on the safe side.
They told me that even though on the chart it says only all mountan/Xc
This bike has long as you DONT do big offs!
You can do Freeride and Downhill on it.

Orange have strengthed the frame for 2009
But hold your horses Orange are brining some new 5's out and a new bike
called Blood, out which is a 5 inch travel bike too.
  • if you ca try the cube stereo , go for the 09 modell, try it, and see how it feels, the ´08 modell had a pretty weird geometry, most people didnt like it.

But the ´09 modell has really nice looks!
