Right, i used to ride MTb, but haven't road anything in Ages. Like a year or two.
I've been thinking about Road and i want to try it, and hopefully start to compete in it once i finnaly get up to speed etc
Now i'm looking for a bike £200-£300, obviously lesser = better
I'm 5'7"
I've been looking in the classifieds here, and i've seen this

Bearing in mind i know aboslutly nothing about Road bikes, is that a good one to start on?
Or if not, point me in the right direction please

Looks good for the money - have a look at http://www.roadcyclinguk.com/review/rev ... /7/v/1/sp/ for a couple of user reviews. The frame seems a bit small, but the seller says s/he's about your size and it fits, so...
The rest of the components sound fine - nothing flashy, but fine...0 -
You may want to look at the classifieds at the back of Cycling weekly....usually some good second hand deals to be had.17 Stone down to 12.5 now raring to get back on the bike!0
