Czech Mountain Bike - Unknown brand - RAVO ULTIMATE

Here is the Czech Republic we have all the usual imported brands but we have also our own home built brands. I have an offer from a local bike shop to buy a top of the range Czech bike at a fantastic end of year price. I have tried to translate this myself, so please excuse the technical terms. I spoke to the manufacturer, who are also the importers here in CZ for all of these parts and the frame is not made here but imported from Taiwan. The price is 1.600 GBP (reduced from 2.600). The bike looks good although not up to the styling of some of the better known brands. When I looked on Wiggle the components alone cost more that the bike. Should I go for an unkown brand or get lower components from a known brand. I find nothing in English from this brand, although it is sold in many shops in CZ.

I could compare this to buying a top of the range Skoda as apposed to a mid level BMW. But I know Skoda make damn good cars with VW technology.

Any advice is appreciated.
