Do fit Women in lycra really exist?

I know this isn't a very pc post, and indeed could be a little sexist...but what the hell
One of the many reasons i go into cycling was the though of bumping (not literally) into fit lycra clad women. So far, having been riding for the last 18 months i have not seen one . Am i just riding in the wrong places, or are these lycra lovelies just a figment of the marketing mans imagination?
PS, I am happily married and don't live at home with my mum

Depends on what you mean by bare tanned legs? If you start at your toes and finish at you forehead then bare is better Though any toned & tanned female legs in skimpy lycra is good. Go on be brave and let us compliment you and your legs.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
I daren't ask my cycling partner today for pics....
maybe I'll (or you) will have better luck tomorrow!!The futures bright....

They do exist, i saw some a few weeks ago doing the Sean Kelly event in Waterford.
Other than that, I think some of the local clubs have women members....problem is of course, look at the age profile of club cyclists. If they're the age of most in my club and myself they'll have children etc to look after, older will have been off the bike for years, what to encourage younger ones onto the bike in the first place?'Twas Mulga Bill, from Eaglehawk, that caught the cycling craze....0 -

Only last week I thought I was hallucinating when a lone woman with all-the-gear on a Rock Lobster came cycling towards me along a narrow bit of singletrack on the Chase. One of us had to give way so like the gentleman I am, I hopped off and stood in the ferns as she passed. She gave me a sweet smile and said 'thank you' just as she missed a gear and rode on with that 'k-tikka k-tikka' noise lol
I'd love to see more women out on the trails but I only ever see timid things with immaculate, expensive, pastel-coloured bikes dragging along behind their bfs who have convinced them that MTBing is 'great fun'0 -

Yep that sounds exactly like my g/f. She loves mountain biking but is still a bit timid, she is quite small so I think the strength thing holds her back a bit as she cant throw the bike around as much as she would like. Oh and her bike is a pastel blue Rockhopper!
I keep telling her practise makes perfect and I am currently trying to convince her we need to move to Wales.
I may be struggling....Scott Ransom 10
