I still maintain that this summers not been as bad as everyones making out, ok no scorchers but, I try to ride every other day and have only had 3 really wet rides, 2 damp, and the rest dry all year. Three weeks ago I did think I was drowning though as I cycled home, exposed road, no cover in sight and rain coming in horizontally to my face, middle of the afternoon cars with full beams on and me in shorts and a t shirt, evidently didn't kill me though! 8)
Just so you can see how nice it was today down my way
Oh and thanks to the fellow cyclists from Melksham who stopped and lent me an inner tube whilst I was trying to find the hole in mine to patch after picking up a thorn.
