Any one doing this ride next Sunday,
Enter on the day, ( about a fiver and that includes a T shirt)
100 miles up to Kikby Stephen and Middleton in Teesdale from the Dolfin Center in Darlington
Got to be better weather than the last two years, other wise it will be the first part of a triathlon.

I might be in for this, the route follows much of the Richmond 80 miler, but in reverse.

Thankfully it doesn't go from Nateby to Keld, as that's some climb out of NAteby that you can do without.

    thanks guys..

another quick one...is the route signposted etc or will i have to pretty much navigate myself?

navigate yourself, all fairly easy. Only iffy bit is back in Darlington but if you get lost, just head for the Town Centre then pick up the signs for The Dolphin Centre. There will be plenty of other bikes around anyway so just tag onto a group riding at your speed.
    Cafe stops.
Officially in Kirkby Stephen but there is a good breakfast Cafe at the far end of Hawes on the right had side, there will be plenty of cyclists and motorcyclists there. Then there is a decent cake stop in Middleton in Teesdale before the last 30 miles back to Darlo.

Seem to remember 2-300 , there will be a wide range of abilities, we rode with a 13 year old last year doing his first 100 miler, guess I might struggle to keep up this year. There will be club riders and a lot just there for a day out.
With heavy rain tomorrow and Saturday there should be some spectacular views on Sunday providing it's all pas over.

Roads were flooded around Richmond. We rode up tp Middleton in Teesdale and the rain only stopped for about 10 minutes so we came back. Got back to Thirsk in sunshine so we put another 25 miles in around Boltby.
