Knee warmer sizing?

Is this important to the extent of a jersey or a pair of bibs?

Fancy a pair of Castelli Thermoflex's but there is no sizing guide.
I've got a couple of pairs of large Castelli Dome Due bibs which are perfect.

Any tips?

    Try before you buy!
    Not convenient I know, but if the elastic/gripper strip/what have you is too tight they'll be really uncomfortable very quickly as well as impairing your circulation and raising the spectre of varicose veins...
    Worth making the effort. I got my first pair (Lussos) last winter - what a difference!
