Hello there im new and after a few questions and hmmms think ive sussed my glorys bits n bobs but please advise,help or your views on my proposed spec critisisom welcome shes gunna be thrown around a bit and crashed probably quite alot down hill !! any hows cheers kev

    Ditch the pedals they have almost no grip & before they fail (bearings about 3 months time)

    XT cassette, the Sram one will eat your freehub, Pro II's are known for having issues with steel bodied cassettes, XT is loads lighter than almost all Sram cassettes.

    Formula brakes instead of the Avid's

    is it a 150mm rear end? have you sourced a rear axle that is saint compatible?

  • yea its a 150 axle but is the new saint not on a universal hanger now if not dam it i wanted it i cant be arsed with a saint hub any others which are as tuff cheers kev

    I don't think that a 32 tooth chainring is big enough for downhill.

    What about a double chainguide?

  • yea im unsure to the cranks that and the headset but the cranks mainly the new atlas 36t maybe i dunno i want raceface but hmmm? i forgot about the chainguide too bugger m.r.p or e thirteen or the new race face if its out yet
