As every summer the weather has been terrible :x and has been especially bad in Newcastle as always so I was thinking is it worth changing back from my slick tryes to 'grooved' ones? Also how bad would it be if I went out on Slicks in the rain? I just want to get out there!!

Thanks in Advance

  • your not going to aquaplane, you'd need to reach really very high speeds, 70/80mph at least.

as to would some more chunky touring tires have better grip? yes more than likely but they'd also be a lot slower.

Also heard 70-80mph for aquaplaning in the rain. If you can ride at that speed tell

I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
