Replacing Nobblies with Semi-Slicks - Tube Question

Hi,

I am going to replace my chunky Continental Gravity (http://www.conti-tyres.co.uk/conticycle ... tion.shtml) with some far more managable Schwalbe Silento II (http://www.allterraincycles.co.uk/product/108866.html), anyway my question is, do I need to replace the existing inner tubes for 'road' tubes, or will the existing tubes work OK?

    Sorry, can't seem to find the first tyre,but I would say that provided they are the same diameter the innertube should be ok.
    Chuck 'em in, worst scenario is you have to replace them later.

    What size are the tyres going to be ?
    If they are narrow tyres it may be best to plump for tubes that will fit . Even if its only for ease of fitting as large tubes in narrow tyres can sometimes be a tad tricky to fit .

    Going from 26x2.2 to 26x1.75, so not a huge difference.

    The tubes will be fine, but.................

    If you have the tyres off now is the good chance for an inspectton and replace any that look worn, especially around the valve.
