I have a giant terrago with suntour xcr forks I just want to ask is it ok to lock out forks when riding, ie in sag position, or is it better to dismount and have them fully extended?

If you do lock them out in sag is it best to unlock them after your ride?

On my Suntour X100s if they are locked out when they are part way through their travel they will top out and lock when the pressure is released so that they lock in full position. (if that makes sense?!)

Yes, it is a compression lock, not a rebound lock so it will spring back to the full length, then lock.
