A quick inspection of my jockey wheels (which look like chinese throwing stars they are so pointy) tells me I need to replace them. I've got a Shimano LX (M581) rear derailleur - I've looked in all the usual places (wiggle, chain rxn, LBS) and they're all out of stock! Do my jockey wheels have to be Shimano? Are there any alternatives? Can I use SRAM instead?

Any help gratefully received (especially as its Bontrager 24/12 next weekend and I need to get it fixed!

I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
